Daily Inspiration: Move On

Many of you are still in pain because the person who did you wrong, talked about you, or lied on you, is denying it. They refuse to take responsibility. Why is this? They know they did you wrong, but their ego, who they want people to believe they are, who they want people to believe they are is contesting the reality of what did they did. What can you do? Never expect truth from a person who doesn’t give it. People can not give you what they don’t have. If they haven’t accepted truth for themselves, they can not give truth to you. Move on and be healed!

Daily Inspiration: Purpose

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.

Daily Inspiration: Change is Inevitable

For change to occur in us, we must be willing to enter the wilderness of the unknown and to wander in unfamiliar territory, directionless, and often in the darkness. We do not need to keep every little thing under control. In fact, we find ourselves only by allowing some falling apart to happen. Sometimes some things fall apart so better things that are for your highest good can fall into place rightfully so.

Daily Inspiration: Fear vs. Love

There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, and excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.

Dying To Self – Luke 9:23

<Luke 9:23>  This is called “dying to self.” It’s a call to absolute surrender. Jesus doesn’t simply call us to believe that He existed, or even to believe that He can save us. He calls on us to commit our whole lives to Him—to trust Him alone for our salvation, and then to follow Him as His disciples. He said, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?” (Luke 9:24-25). The call is tough but the reward is matchless. Following Jesus is easy when life runs smoothly; our true commitment to Him is revealed during trials. Jesus assured us that trials will come to His followers (John 16:33). Discipleship demands sacrifice, and Jesus never hid that cost.
If you wonder if you are ready to take up your cross, consider these questions:

• Are you willing to follow Jesus if it means losing some of your closest friends?

• Are you willing to follow Jesus if it means alienation from your family?

• Are you willing to follow Jesus if it means the loss of your reputation?

• Are you willing to follow Jesus if it means losing your job?

• Are you willing to follow Jesus if it means losing your life?
Commitment to Christ means taking up your cross daily, giving up your hopes, dreams, possessions, even your very life if need be for the cause of Christ.
